Over de functie
Voor onze solide en groeiende organisatie zijn wij op zoek naar een Assistent Controller voor de vestiging in Bladel. We zoeken iemand die niet alleen financieel sterk onderlegd is, maar ook graag een actieve bijdrage levert aan de verdere ontwikkeling van de organisatie. Als Assistent Controller ben je verantwoordelijk voor het financiële beleid en de dagelijkse aansturing van de financiële administratie. Je fungeert als een belangrijke sparringpartner voor de Business Director.

Je werkzaamheden zijn afwisselend en bestaan onder andere uit:
• Samenwerken met alle Finance-teamleden binnen de Alliance-organisatie;
• Voorbereiden, bewaken en tijdig afronden van maand-, kwartaal- en jaarafsluitingen;
• Optimaliseren van financiële processen en systemen, met focus op automatisering en efficiëntie;
• Ontwikkelen en bewaken van interne beheersmaatregelen en toezien op naleving van wet- en regelgeving;
• Coördineren van audits, belastingaangiften en externe financiële controles;
• Bewaken van de kwaliteit van de financiële administratie en projectadministratie;
• Opstellen van diverse rapportages en analyses en deze bespreken met stakeholders, waaronder de Business Director en budgetverantwoordelijken;
• Bijdragen aan optimalisatie- en automatiseringsprojecten;
• Andere diverse taken die zich voor kunnen doen.

About the position
For a solid and growing organization that operates on a project basis, we are seeking an Assistant Controller for our plant in Bladel, who is not only financially astute but also eager to contribute to the further development of the organization. As Assistant Controller, you will be responsible for financial policy and the day-to-day tasks of the financial administration team. You will serve as a key sparring partner for the Business Director.

Additionally, your duties will include:
• Partnering with all Finance team members across the Alliance organization;
• Preparing, monitoring, and ensuring the timely completion of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings;
• Optimizing financial processes and systems, with a focus on automation and efficiency;
• Developing and monitoring internal control measures and ensuring compliance with laws and regulations;
• Managing audits, tax filings, and external financial reviews;
• Monitoring the quality of financial and project-related administration;
• Preparing various reports and analyses, and discussing these with stakeholders including the Business Director and various budget holders;
• Contributing to optimization and automation projects;
• Other additional tasks that may occur.

Wie ben jij?

Je hebt een proactieve, nauwkeurige en samenwerkingsgerichte werkhouding. Als Assistent Controller zijn structuur, overzicht en het vermogen om op hoofdlijnen te sturen essentieel.
Daarnaast beschik je over:
• Een afgeronde HBO- of WO-opleiding in Finance, Bedrijfseconomie of een vergelijkbare richting;
• Goede beheersing van zowel de Nederlandse als Engelse taal;
• Minimaal 5 jaar werkervaring in een financiële functie;
• Kennis van financiële administratie, controlling en relevante wet- en regelgeving;
• Bij voorkeur ervaring met salarisadministratie en/of payroll coördinatie;
• Ervaring met ERP-systemen, kennis van Ridder iQ is een pré;
• Eventuele leidinggevende capaciteiten of de ambitie om je hierin verder te ontwikkelen.

Who are you?
A proactive, meticulous, and collaborative work attitude. As Assistant Controller, structure and a helicopter view are indispensable.
Furthermore, you possess:
• An HBO or WO degree in Finance, Business Economics, or a related field;
• Ability to speak English and Dutch;
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a financial role;
• Knowledge of financial administration, controlling, and relevant laws and regulations;
• Experience with payroll coordination is preferred;
• Experience with ERP systems, knowledge of ERP system Ridder iQ is a plus;
• You possess any leadership capabilities, or have an ambition to develop in this area.
