Your mission
- Analyze existing manufacturing processes to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and im-provement opportunities.
- Support the implementation of process improvements, layout changes, and standardiza-tion initiatives within agreed timelines and budgets.
- Perform measurements, data analysis, and root-cause investigations to support technical problem-solving.
- Contribute to optimization of lead times, workstation ergonomics, tooling, and material flows.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, and Operations to define and review production and technical specifications, including system interfaces.
- Monitor post-implementation performance and support adjustments where needed to en-sure targeted results are achieved.
- Collect operator and technician feedback and evaluate the impact of improvements on productivity and the work environment.
- Define and review production specifications in alignment with Engineering, Quality, and Operations.
- Actively contribute to quality improvement, cost-reduction, and innovation projects across functions.
Your Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (HBO level) in Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical En-gineering, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in a high-tech or manufacturing environment, ideally involving mechatronic systems or automation equipment.
- Strong experience in mechanical design and CAD tools (e.g., SolidWorks, Inventor, or similar) and technical drawing standards.
- Ability to create and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams (e.g., EPLAN or similar tools).
- Knowledge of mechatronic systems integration, including sensors, actuators, PLC-controlled systems, or automation equipment.
- Solid understanding of process engineering, process optimization, and Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
- Familiarity with internal processes, procedures, and safety regulations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work across mechanical and electrical domains.
- Excellent communication skills and fluency in English (written and spoken).
