About the Job
We are seeking a results-driven Manager, Sales Support, to lead our sales support department and coordinate the execution of all sales support activities. Your leadership and previous experience working in a multinational enterprise will play a pivotal role in fostering a high-performance culture. The successful candidate will organize and lead the efforts for RFPs and influence specific procurement routes in the government market for complex end-to-end satellite solutions and large MoD contracts. Furthermore, the Manager of Sales Support will coordinate and optimize collaboration with key internal and external stakeholders to create, implement, and coordinate competitive proposals and bid strategies that meet and or exceed the sales targets of Network Innovations EMEA.
- Lead, mentor and evaluate the performance of the sales support team to achieve individual and team goals, 2 FTE
- Develop, organize, and manage content for the Request for Proposal (RFP) response process, including planning and executing the application processes to win bids and meet and or exceed revenue goals for end-to-end satellite solutions
- Collaborate with Account Managers and the Network Innovations EMEA management team to develop and grow the market.
- Coordinate conferences and customer events in partnership with the Marketing team and other departments to ensure alignment with sales strategies and company objectives.
- Interact with internal and external stakeholders to proactively organize and lead kick-off meetings. Assist the Vice President of Sales Europe with evaluating and optimizing sales procedures.
- Generate reports and analyze sales data to identify key market trends, customer segmentation, and competitor activity to determine target customer groups, channels, and sales planning.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree (ideally with legal, commercial, and/or technical background) and/or Military Academy degree
- Minimum of 3–5 years in a sales support management role or sales environment.
- Proven ability to lead, inspire, and manage a team, with a demonstrated track record of meeting and or exceeding sales quotas
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English and Dutch, with the ability to effectively convey ideas and build relationships. Knowledge of other languages is an asset.
- Experience with European government procurement cycles, knowledge of the satellite communications industry, and or MoD will be considered a strong asset.
- Knowledge of telecommunications industry is preferred.
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 20% of the time for customer and partner engagements.
