About the role:
As a Team Leader in our Logistics department, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of your work center. Your focus will be on optimizing team productivity by ensuring that all employees have the tools, training, and support needed to perform at their best. You will foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and teamwork. You are a proactive leader who leads by example, sets clear expectations, and continuously motivates your team. With a strong understanding of logistics processes and Lean principles, you will identify opportunities for improvement and lead Kaizen initiatives to enhance efficiency and quality.
Key responsibilities:
- Daily management of operations, focusing on Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, People and productivity/KPIs
- Organize daily tasks and set clear team goals aligned with departmental objectives
- Monitor team performance without micromanaging, ensuring accountability and autonomy
- Train and upskill team members, ensuring knowledge of up-to-date processes, policies, and procedures
- Ensure a safe, organized, and clean working environment (5S/Lean)
- Coach, develop, and evaluate your team to ensure consistent performance and growth
- Understand individual strengths and weaknesses to build a well-balanced and effective team
- Lead cross-functional startup activities and manage workload priorities for support engineers
Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Logistics Management, or a related field
- 3–5 years of relevant professional experience in a logistics or warehouse environment
- Proficiency in SAP (ERP/EWM) or similar WMS systems
- Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to build, lead, and motivate high-performing teams
- Ambitious, proactive, and committed to continuous improvement (LEAN/Kaizen)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Able to stay focused and effective under pressure
