Your Mission
- Bridge the gap between engineering and the user. You'll translate complex technical information from discussions with engineers into clear and accurate documentation, such as user manuals, build guides, field modification instructions, and user procedures.
- Ensure the quality and usability of all technical documentation. You will play an active role in the engineering process by providing feedback on design and overall usability based on your perspective as both a technical expert and a documentation specialist.
- You will be responsible for the entire documentation lifecycle, from initial draft to final release. This includes developing and maintaining a consistent documentation style and standard, as well as managing review and approval processes to guarantee clarity.
- Effectively communicate with System Integration Engineers, Technical Support, Help desk and Field Service Engineers to correct and improve documentation issues and gather feedback for future improvements.
- Proactively identify and address documentation needs by actively participating in engineering discussions and observing system usage, you will anticipate the need for new or updated documentation and procedures
- Create and publish documentation with Author-it CCMS authoring software, SharePoint, Adobe- and MS Office applications.
- Reports directly to the System Engineering Manager
Your Qualifications
- Bachelor`s in engineering, industrial engineering, applied physics or related
- Experience high-tech semiconductor equipment or related field
- 3-7 years professional experience, including technical documentation
- Broad technical curiosity beyond documentation; familiar with vacuum technology, high voltage, and precision mechanics.
- Experience with Author-it CCMS authoring software preferred.
- Ownership, pragmatism, and hands-on with proven project work proficiency.
- Creative with strong communication skills.
- Strong analytical skills, conceptual problem-solver, team-oriented.
- Self-driven, thrives in challenging, dynamic environments.
- Fluent in English (spoken and written).
